I am a millennial therapist with a modern approach. I show up fully as myself to each session because I understand the importance of being able to relate and trust your therapist. I will always celebrate your wins and hype you up while also helping you process through the tougher stuff in a collaborative way.
Often during the consult call, I get asked, “Are you going to speak back to me during sessions?” Of course I am, therapy is meant to be conversational, challenging at times, but it can also be fun at other times!
I truly do believe that therapy can be transformative and firsthand understand what it is like to be on both sides of the “couch”.
I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Massachusetts.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University located in Garden City and then received my Masters degree from Stony Brook University located in Stony Brook in Social Work as well. Since then, I have completed a Masters of Public Administration from UMASS Lowell. I have also taken post graduate certifications in trauma informed care and have my CASAC which is a substance use certification.
I opened my virtual private practice in December of 2020, which makes it easy to engage in therapy even with a busy schedule. As long as I am licensed in the state you are in during treatment, you have stable Wi-Fi and a laptop, phone, or tablet we can work together! I use a HIPPA encrypted software for all of our sessions.
My priority is to build a relationship with you that feels safe, trusting, and non-judgemental to talk about absolutely anything in a way that feels productive and always remaining goal oriented.
Finding balance and happiness in our society along with the current state of the world can be difficult, but together we will talk about what those two things mean to you and find achievable ways to make that happen for you.
If you are feeling anxious, depressed, a bit confused on what comes next in your life I am here for you and will create a supportive environment to do the work on yourself you have always wanted to do. I imagine that there are areas of your life that you either feel stuck in or want to change. We can get there together. Together we can help you set boundaries in relationships or even explore them further, have a healthier relationship with food and your body, we can work through feeling stressed and being tired of feeling that way. We can help you decrease thought spirals and come up with healthier coping skills that are realistic for your every day.
